Jess has been writing folk, country, blues influenced songs for about 25 years. Jess is known for her haunting voice and her songs mostly about heartbreak and loss. One friend said Jess’s songs make you experience emotions you didn't know you had. While performing Jess is often accompanied by bassist Mark Grover and multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Geoff Williams.

Rockstar Dreams:

Jess grew up in a mostly unmusical family but found herself drawn to music at a very young age and she’d imagine growing up and becoming a Rock Star like Axle Rose or Jem from Jem and the Hollograms cartoon. As a kid Jess would wake up from sleep with songs in her head that she had written in her dreams. It wasn’t until she was 17 that she learned guitar and finally had a way to channel all of the songs brewing in and around her. Within a few months of learning guitar she started writing songs and she hasn’t stopped since - she has written over 100 songs.
